Legal Administrative Assistant, BridgePark Counsel Greater Toronto Area | Hybrid | Full-Time or Flexible About BridgePark Counsel BridgePark Counsel is a boutique corporate and commercial law firm based in Toronto. We provide strategic, business-focused legal advice to growing companies, business owners, healthcare professionals, and investors navigating acquisitions, transactions, restructurings, and complex commercial decisions. Our work is focused on M&A, regulated industries, healthcare businesses, and emerging companies at important growth or transition points.
This is an opportunity to work directly alongside the founder of a growing boutique firm, with meaningful exposure to sophisticated transactions and a real role in keeping the practice operating smoothly. The Role We are looking for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join BridgePark Counsel and take ownership of a broad administrative and transactional support portfolio. This is a hybrid role based in the GTA.
We are open to flexible arrangements, including a four-day work week, for the right candidate. You will support a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including: Acting as a key point of contact for client communications and internal coordination, managing the flow of work with professionalism and good judgment Opening new client matters and managing related administrative processes, including file management and billing coordination Drafting and finalizing legal documents, correspondence, and ancillary closing materials Assisting with transactions and closings, including tracking deliverables, coordinating signatures, and supporting the preparation of closing materials Liaising with clients, counterparties, and other internal and external parties with professionalism and responsiveness Managing calendars, deadlines, and scheduling across various active matters Preparing marketing materials and supporting business development initiatives Coordinating administrative and accounting functions Leveraging technology to support legal professionals and clients efficiently and effectively What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of five years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, ideally in a corporate or commercial law environment Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to draft correspondence and documents with care and precision Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with legal technology and document management systems Sound professional judgment and a client-first orientation The ability to work independently, take initiative, and see tasks through to completion A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the interpersonal skills to work effectively with lawyers, clients, and external parties What Makes This Role Different This role is intentionally designed to offer something that is increasingly rare: the chance to be genuinely involved in the work.
