About Our Client
This is not a regional sales leadership or new business hunter role. The position exists to professionalize national account management, standardize commercial frameworks, and unlock long term value from strategic customers within a complex, matrix environment.The role is based in Pasadena and supports accounts primarily concentrated in Texas, with responsibility across approximately eight states. Travel is regular but typically under 50 percent.
Job Description
Key Priorities for the Role
- Own and grow a national portfolio of 20 to 30 strategic customers, increasing share of wallet while protecting margin and consistency.
- Lead the negotiation, renewal, and optimization of complex multi stakeholder master service agreements, ensuring alignment across pricing, service levels, and risk.
- Act as the coordinating force between regional sales teams and operations to eliminate pricing leakage, service inconsistency, and account fragmentation.
- Provide structured commercial insight, forecasting accuracy, and customer intelligence back to senior leadership to inform national go to market strategy.

- National customers experience a consistent, high quality, solution driven engagement regardless of geography.
- Revenue retention and expansion improves across existing accounts without erosion of margin.
- Commercial processes mature post acquisition, with clear accountability and CRM discipline.
- The business is positioned to scale nationally, with the foundations in place for future team build out under this role.

The Successful Applicant
Candidate Profile
- 10 to 15 years of experience within the pump industry, across rentals, OEMs, or industrial services.
- Proven experience leading national or enterprise accounts in a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex MSA negotiations with procurement, operations, safety, and executive stakeholders.
- Technically credible in pump and fluid handling applications, with the confidence to engage senior customers.
- Commercially disciplined, comfortable owning forecasts, and highly competent using CRM systems.
- Strategic, externally focused communicator with the presence to influence internally without direct authority.
- Degree qualified in engineering or MBA equivalent.
