Investment Associate Pan-European Private Equity Investor Location: London Salary: Competitive salary +bonus +carry CP16087 The Opportunity Finatal is partnered with a cutting-edge, entrepreneurial private capital fund who are looking to add a new associate to their dynamic, high-performing team. They have a flexible mandate and are able to tailor/structure their investments to suit specific situations and their management teams. They are super hands-on with their portfolio companies, partnering with founders to unlock and expedite business growth through M&A and organic growth strategies.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a self-starting, switched on investment banker to join a lean but growing team and learn from top-tier experienced investors. The Role You will be involved end-to-end on deals; you'll be well-supported but will be given plenty of responsibility and exposure from day one. You will work closely with the rest of the deal team to identify new targets for platform deals both through advisors and off-market, as well as preliminary screening and so on.

You will be responsible for performing due diligence assessments and producing reports (commercial, financial, legal…) for new potential investments and subsequently make recommendations. You will have the opportunity to take board seats and will work closely with management teams on a range of value creation strategies. The Requirements 2-5 years investment banking experience.

Additional European language preferred, though not essential. An exceptional academic track record. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
