About the Role We are seeking a proactive and security-focused IT Administrator to manage and support our organization's IT infrastructure, user devices, cloud environments, and information security practices. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining secure IT operations, managing company assets, supporting employees, and safeguarding sensitive business and trading-related information. This role is particularly important as the organization transitions from employee-owned devices to company-managed laptops and implements stronger security controls across its technology environment.
Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure & Systems Management Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure, systems, and network resources. Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested. AWS & Cloud Administration Manage AWS user accounts, roles, policies, and permissions. Monitor AWS resources, usage, and security configurations.
Implement and maintain cloud security best practices. Assist development teams with infrastructure-related requirements. Endpoint & Asset Management Procure, configure, deploy, and maintain company laptops and IT equipment.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets. Implement device security controls, including encryption, antivirus, and endpoint protection. Manage software installation, updates, and patch management.
Information Security Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures. Monitor and investigate security incidents and suspicious activities. Ensure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled across critical systems.
Conduct periodic access reviews and security audits. Support data protection and intellectual property security initiatives. User Support & IT Operations Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Resolve IT tickets and user requests in a timely manner. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as required. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding Set up laptops, email accounts, software access, and required tools for new employees.
Manage IT asset allocation and recovery. Ensure timely revocation of system access during employee exits. Maintain onboarding and offboarding checklists and records.
Documentation & Compliance Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, access records, and system inventories. Develop and update IT policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines. Support compliance, audit, and security review activities.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3–6 years of experience in IT Administration, Systems Administration, or Information Security roles. Experience managing AWS environments and cloud-based infrastructure. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and endpoint management.
Experience with network administration, VPNs, and firewall management. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and access control frameworks. Experience with IT asset management and device deployment.
Preferred Skills AWS Certification (Preferred). Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, JumpCloud, or similar platforms. Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab access management.
Experience implementing security controls in software development environments. Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
