The facility offers a collaborative environment with dedicated infectious disease specialists and maintains strong relationships with regional hospitals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Infectious Disease

Job Details: • Provide Monday through Friday inpatient care and new consult coverage for Stafford Hospital • Schedule: 8am - 5pm (5pm Fredericksburg on-call provider takes over call for new consults) • No outpatient clinic responsibilities at Stafford Hospital location • Variable patient encounters per shift • Board certification required with fellowship training • Must maintain active Virginia medical license • BLS certification required • Microscopic specimen evaluation required • Management of vascular access devices and central venous catheters required • Familiarity with intravenous medications required • Central line placement capabilities required • Intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents required • Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days • Lodging accommodations available through preferred hotel list

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
