Industrial Electrician (442A) Role Summary

We are seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) to support maintenance and operational efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production equipment to ensure reliable and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment installations, troubleshooting, and system improvements.
• Provide technical support for production processes, equipment, and systems.
• Ensure effective shift transitions through clear communication and proper hand-offs.
• Participate in team meetings to address operational challenges and safety concerns.
• Support the onboarding, training, and development of new team members.
• Contribute to workplace organization and efficiency through 5S initiatives.
• Carry out additional duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Ontario Trade Certificate – Industrial Electrician (442A) (required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment after obtaining the 442A license
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with:
• PLC systems knowledge (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation / Siemens / Schneider Electric / Mitsubishi Electric
• Variable speed drives and motion controls
• CNC controls
• Automated equipment
• Solid understanding of preventative maintenance programs and practices.
• Dependable and professional, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
