About the CompanyWe are looking for an Import Logistics, Operations & Documentation Executive to support the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international supply chains.
About the RoleThis role plays a critical part in ensuring timely import execution, documentation accuracy, and alignment between suppliers, logistics partners, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesManaging end-to-end import shipments from origin to final deliveryCoordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and customs brokers to ensure timely movement of goodsPreparing and reviewing import documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of originEnsuring compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and applicable trade lawsMonitoring shipment schedules, transit timelines, and clearance processes to avoid delaysTracking shipments and proactively resolving operational issues such as documentation discrepancies, customs queries, demurrage, or detention risksCoordinating closely with procurement, warehouse, finance, and sales teams to align delivery timelines and operational requirementsSupporting cost optimization initiatives by monitoring freight, duties, and logistics-related expensesMaintaining accurate records in ERP systems or logistics platforms to ensure audit-ready documentationIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency across import operations
