Job Description
Summary The Human Resources Business Partner provides strategic HR guidance and counsel to assigned business units, partnering with leaders to drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and change initiatives. This role supports the execution of HR programs and fosters a high-performance, compliant work environment. Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on complex and sensitive HR matters, providing coaching and guidance.
Partner with People Centre of Expertise on talent acquisition, development, succession planning, performance management, and compensation initiatives. Lead and support local recruitment activities and coordinate hiring events. Facilitate training programs including onboarding and leadership development.
Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in accordance with policies. Support employee engagement efforts, survey action planning, and the Employee Voice Council. Champion change by partnering with leaders to develop communications and action plans.
Participate in health and safety activities and people-related projects to support business objectives. Requirements Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience and CHRP or equivalent designation. 5-7 years of relevant human resources experience with sound knowledge of HR disciplines. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and deliver consultative HR solutions.
Strong presentation, facilitation, influencing, and coaching skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Advanced verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). #J-18808-Ljbffr
