This HR Manager role is ideal for individuals with 4-5+ years of progressive experience managing HR for 40-70 employees. You will be responsible for overseeing all HR processes, managing payroll through ADP, and navigating employee relations while ensuring a positive workplace culture. This position offers a high level of autonomy and places you at the forefront of HR actions, supporting senior leadership directly.
Key Responsibilities: • Take ownership of the HR function as a stand-alone leader • Manage full-cycle payroll using ADP systems • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations processes • Maintain HR records and systems in BambooHR • Act as an active HR presence addressing staff concerns
Requirements: • 4-5+ years of HR experience managing 40-70+ employees • Hands-on payroll experience with ADP • Strong Ontario employment legislation knowledge • Ideal candidates should possess CHRP or CHRL designation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
