Required Skills/Qualities
- At least 2 years of experience as a Host in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members. - Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Well-organized and detail-oriented, ensuring efficient seating and guest flow. - Proficiency in reservation management systems and ability to multitask effectively. - Friendly, welcoming, and committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. - Manage reservations and walk-in seating to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. - Maintain accurate wait times and communicate them effectively to guests. - Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition. - Monitor dining room flow and communicate with servers and management to adjust seating as needed. - Assist in answering phones, managing takeout orders, and responding to guest inquiries. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area. - Follow and execute all side work lists provided by the company. - Assist with coat check and other guest service needs as required. - Support other team members as needed to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
