Position: High School Economics Teacher

Location: Faridabad, India

Objectives:

Deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons aligned with the curriculum.Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence in Economics.Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of economic concepts.Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Responsibilities:Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.Lesson Planning: Develop well-organised lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to students' needs and abilities.Student Assessment: Assess and evaluate students' academic progress, provide constructive feedback, and report on student performance.Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a productive classroom environment conducive to learning.Instructional Strategies: Employ diverse teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.Resource Management: Utilise appropriate learning resources, including textbooks, technology, and supplementary materials.Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and support student clubs and societies related to Economics.Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional growth to stay updated with educational trends and advancements in Economics education.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student learning and well-being.Advisory Role: Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance on academic, career, and personal development matters.

Skills:Strong knowledge of Economics and the ability to teach it effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create a stimulating and challenging learning environment.Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field. A teaching certification or diploma is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
