Job Description
Step into a leadership opportunity with a highly respected, community-based cancer program in the scenic Columbia River Gorge. This established center has delivered comprehensive oncology care for 25+ years in collaboration with an academic cancer institute.
Join a well-supported, multidisciplinary team including radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, surgery, and nurse navigation in an efficient, patient-centered environment with strong hospital backing and a loyal patient base.
Position Highlights
General Hematology/Oncology
Medical Directorship Available
Volume: patients/day 800 patient panel Up to 3 new consults daily
Schedule: 4-day workweek (4 9-hour shifts)
NO Required Call: Professional call only
No inpatient chemo
No hospital rounding
No patient phone call burden
Support:
10-chair infusion center
3 5 RNs daily
Onsite pharmacy, lab, radiation oncology
Nurse navigation
Tumor Board: Twice monthly (CME eligible)
Academic Affiliation: Community-based faculty appointment with access to library resources and development programs
