About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development leader to drive growth, expand strategic partnerships, and strengthen the global customer base for a leading pharmaceutical CDMO organization. The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, and proven success in acquiring and managing global customers across regulated markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & StrategyDefine and execute global business development strategy to drive sustainable growth.Develop and implement a 5-year business plan aligned with organizational objectives.Identify new opportunities across APIs, intermediates, and CDMO services.Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to support portfolio expansion.
Sales & Revenue GrowthOwn business unit P&L and deliver revenue, profitability, and volume targets.Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.Lead commercial negotiations, long-term supply agreements, and strategic partnerships.
Client Acquisition & Account ManagementAcquire and onboard new customers across global pharmaceutical and biotech markets.Develop and manage strategic customer relationships at senior leadership levels.Expand existing accounts and maximize long-term business value.
Market Intelligence & Portfolio DevelopmentIdentify emerging opportunities, market gaps, and growth segments.Provide commercial inputs for product selection, R&D priorities, and business expansion.Track competitor activities, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner with R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure successful project execution.Support technology transfer, commercialization, and regulatory-driven market entry plans.Ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and effective commercial operations.
