A high-volume New York City restaurant is seeking a General Manager who leads with hospitality, builds strong teams, and knows how to run a disciplined operation. If you bring more than experience to the table and are unapologetic about hospitality, we want to meet you.

This role is for a leader who is highly present, hands-on, and accountable. Someone who can create a strong guest experience, coach and develop a team, and keep the restaurant operating at a high level every day. The right candidate brings confidence on the floor, sound judgment, and a clear sense of ownership.

What You’ll Do

Lead the day-to-day operation with consistency, presence, and accountability.

Set the tone for hospitality, service, teamwork, and professionalism across the restaurant.

Be visible on the floor, support the team during service, and ensure guests feel welcomed, recognized, and well taken care of.

Hire, train, coach, and develop managers and team members while maintaining clear standards and follow-through.

Build a culture of respect, urgency, responsibility, and pride in the work.

Manage labor and staffing in line with business levels and financial goals.

Oversee product quality, service standards, cleanliness, and operational execution.

Drive sales, guest loyalty, and overall restaurant performance through strong leadership and attention to detail.

Maintain clear communication with leadership and ensure strong follow-up on operational needs, reporting, repairs, and ordering.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of NYC restaurant experience

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant

• Strong hospitality instincts and an active floor presence

• A hands-on leader who is organized, accountable, and calm under pressure

• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold standards

• Financial and operational awareness, including labor management and cost control

• Excellent communication and follow-through

• Food Handler certification preferred or required as applicable

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $110,000 to $130,000
