Job Summary
Prime Finance is seeking a seasoned fundraising professional with deep experience in institutional fixed income and credit markets to join our Investor Relations team. This individual will play a critical role in expanding and deepening relationships with institutional investors, focusing on structured fixed income and commercial real estate strategies. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive industry experience and a robust network of investor connections to drive capital raising initiatives across our platform.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting institutional fixed‑income investors, insurance companies, family offices, and other capital sources.
- Own and manage the fundraising pipeline end‑to‑end, including advancing prospects through diligence, coordinating internal resources, and driving commitments through closing.
- Proactively cultivate and expand strong relationships with investors.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and internal teams (Investments, Legal/Compliance, Finance/Reporting) to coordinate fundraising priorities, diligence responses, and investor communications and align fundraising efforts with firm objectives and market opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to prospective investors and anticipate key questions.
- Monitor market trends and investor sentiment to inform outreach strategies and product positioning.
- Support due diligence processes and respond to investor inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Represent Prime Finance in investor meetings, onsite visits, and industry events, effectively articulating the firm’s strategies and positioning with institutional credibility.
- Maintain thorough investor interaction notes, pipeline tracking, and follow‑ups into relevant CRM system to support forecasting and visibility for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; additional degrees or certifications a plus but not required.
- Minimum ten (10) years of industry experience with 5 years of fundraising experience.
- Demonstrated track record of fundraising within institutional fixed‑income strategies, including established relationships with senior decision‑makers and investment teams.
- Familiarity with real estate or real estate credit is a plus but not required.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to partner effectively across teams and with senior leadership.
- Energetic and hands‑on working style, with willingness to engage directly in execution as needed.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex investment strategies and respond confidently to sophisticated investor inquiries.
- Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to navigate fundraising discussions, manage investor expectations, and advance capital commitments in a disciplined and professional manner.
- Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities and complex institutional relationships, and represent the firm with current and prospective investors.

The expected salary for this role is $169,000 - $255,000. Actual compensation will be determined by several components, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and qualifications, base salary of internal peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and a variety of financial, wellbeing, and health / welfare benefits.
