Frontend Engineer

San Francisco, CA | Full-Time | In-Person or Remote (Ideally based in North America)

Kite is building the trust framework for the next phase of the agentic internet.

We’re creating the transaction layer for the AI-native economy: a programmable system where agents can coordinate, pay, and interact autonomously with guardrails. We’re laying the foundation for an interoperable network of autonomous AI services - our infrastructure includes real-time payments, identity management, attribution, and programmable governance running on a custom blockchain built for AI.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end development of UIs across the product for AI agents developers and users to browse / manage / delegate AI agents & services
• Design & prototype user flow with product team for new features
• Collaborate with product and infra teams to refine user workflows and implement fast, accessible interfaces
• Proactively identify and resolve UX issues or performance bottlenecks
• Maintain a lightweight design system for internal and external apps
• Contribute to a product culture grounded in speed and autonomy

What You'll Need

• Strong experience with React and modern frontend frameworks
• Strong design sensibility, especially around dev tools and technical UX
• Experience with wallets, SDK interfaces, or programmable payments
• Familiarity with agents, LLM developer tooling, or Web3 UX
• Experience with analytics tooling
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and translating rough ideas into working product
• Ability to reason about edge cases and advocate for users
• Experience collaborating with infra/backend engineers
