Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Next.js Developer with 3 years of experience.The Next.js Developer will build and maintain performant, accessible web applications using Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers. Daily responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, integrating APIs, optimizing performance and SEO, managing state (e.g., with Redux), and ensuring code quality through testing and code reviews.
The role also involves working with back-end services, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to technical decisions, documentation, and best practices. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an asynchronous, distributed environment and delivering high-quality features on schedule. Qualifications Strong front-end development skills, including Next.js, React, JavaScript (ES6), responsive UI implementation, and modern CSS frameworks.
Experience with back-end web development concepts such as RESTful APIs, server-side rendering, API integration, and basic database interactions. Solid software development foundations, including version control (Git), testing practices, code reviews, and familiarity with agile or iterative workflows. Proficiency with state management tools like Redux.js or similar libraries, and ability to design scalable state architectures.
Experience optimizing web performance, SEO, and accessibility in production applications. Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team, with clear written and verbal communication skills in English. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have: experience with TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), and prior work in AI-driven or MarCom-focused products.
