Job Details Location: Leduc , AB T9E 8M3 Salary: 30.00 to 37.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 to 50 hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience ,p>1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Professionalism in customer service Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Credentials AZ class license Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi‑trailer trucks) Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Documentation Knowledge Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Inspection report (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip) Maintenance and repair reports Trip reports Type of Trucking and Equipment Tractor‑trailer Security and Safety Driving record check (abstract) Drug test Transportation/Travel Information Valid driver’s licence Willing to travel for extended periods Willing to travel overnight Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Physically demanding Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Own Tools/Equipment Steel‑toed safety boots Safety vest Gloves Other Benefits Free parking available Application Eligibility You can apply if you are: a permanent resident of Canada a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada .
