Job Description
Role & ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely and accurate settlement of fixed income transactions in accordance with market deadlines and regulatory requirements. Verifies trade details and ensure completeness and accuracy of settlement instructions prior to execution.Coordinate closely with brokers, custodian counterparties and internal teams to facilitate smooth settlement process. Monitor settlement cycles and proactively manage potential risks, including failed or delayed settlement.Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, breaks, and exceptions in timely manner.Process and generate accurate Trade Confirmation for bond transaction and promptly distribute them to clients.Handle administrative and operational tasks related to Fixed Income transactions.
Support process improvements and systems enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.Maintain proper documentation and records of all transaction and settlement activities. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in settlement, operations in a securities company (fixed income preferred).Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and settlement process.Familiarity with custodians, clearing system and regulatory frameworks.High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.Able to work under tight deadlines and high transaction volume.
