Job Description
Midway Glass, a commercial glazing contractor, is looking for a full-time Commercial Project Manager to manage projects ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000. Responsibilities Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously. Manage the submittal process with subcontractors, including preparation, submission, and review of returned submittals.
Release and track procurement of materials. Prepare and submit change orders. Perform project accounting functions, including preparing monthly requisitions for work performed.
Manage close-out procedures and documents. Ensure client satisfaction, project budgets, quality of work, and completion dates. Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, including job-site visits, face-to-face meetings, written, and oral communication.
Follow company policies and procedures to uphold ethical and quality standards. Maintain project binder and computer files, including project documents, change orders, and materials. Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Analyze completed projects for timeliness, quality, and budget versus cost. Requirements 3 years of Glass and Glazing industry experience. 3 years of on-site field experience in Glazing. At least 1 year of Project Management experience.
Ability to manage the submittal process and procurement/release of materials. Ability to prepare and submit accurate, timely change orders. Experience managing multiple projects to meet client expectations, scope changes, budgets, and deadlines.
Self-motivated with a positive approach and strong time-management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer focused. Strong computer, verbal, and writing skills; proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Valid Driver’s License. References available. Additional Salary Information Competitive salary based on experience.
