Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support Lee Epting, the owner of Epting Events.
This role requires exceptional communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities. Key Responsibilities: This is a leadership role within the company. At times you will be privy to and have access to sensitive information.
Manage Lee Epting’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements. Coordinate meetings, assist with preparing agendas, and take meeting notes. Assist with special projects, research, and event coordination.
Oversee administrative tasks (e.g. reception desk coverage, answering phones, etc.) Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams on behalf of the owner. Anticipate needs and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Responsible for organizing and conducting tours at the Hill.
Responsible for short term rentals. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Discrete Ability to navigate and work with a variety of different personalities. Experience working in a family owned and operated business is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Google Suite. Moderate level of computer competency.
Experience working with a detailed CRM system is a plus. Some level of property management is a plus. Knowledge of the Athens community, organizations, and relationships with UGA are all pluses.
