The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel based in London. We are opening a new property with an all-day public restaurant and private members’ club located in the former Margaret Louisa Home in Union Square. We are looking for an Event Sales Manager to join our team.
This role is ideal for candidates who are customer service oriented. Front desk experience is a plus. Overview: The Event Sales Manager is responsible for handling event enquiries from initial contact through to contracting and then handover to the F&B team.
This role works closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless sales processes and negotiations are handled to close and convert events business. This role supports in driving revenue, converting leads, and building lasting relationships with both new and returning clients. General Responsibilities: Serves as the primary point of contact for all event inquiries, delivering prompt, polished, and professional responses that reflect The Twenty Two’s brand Manages incoming event enquiries via phone, email, and members app.
Conducts site visits and client meetings, showcasing the hotel’s event spaces and capabilities. Creates personalized event proposals and contracts in line with client needs and hotel standards. Provides clients with full breakdowns of costs using TripleSeat to share prospected pro-forma invoices to help guide clients through their internal budgeting process to help convert bookings.
Ensures all the billing instructions as per our contracted terms and conditions are up to date at the time of handing over contracted and confirmed events to the F&B team. Works collaboratively with the operational team to ensure seamless delivery of every detail of the client event gets handed over accordingly and assist the events coordinator with final invoice and billing details that may have been discussed during the sales process to ensure alignment ahead of final billing being shared with the client. Conducts post-event follow-ups, gather feedback, and maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business or referrals.
Maintains accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and client communications using TripleSeat. Demonstrates flexibility and multi-skilling by supporting various operational tasks across departments as required, working collaboratively with colleagues throughout the Hotel to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
