Job Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Director, Operations/Supply Chain Management for the Naval Power (Shipboard Missiles) unit to be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidate will be responsible for directly leading a team of Program Operations Managers and Material Program Managers while overseeing a dynamic and complex program. This individual will develop and execute program, operations and supply chain strategies, long‑range planning, material forecasting oversight, quarterly EAC reviews, metrics and data analytics, and overall program execution.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside one’s own job function, and with parties external to the organization.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier/factory management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements.
- Long‑range planning, AOP responsibility and generation, quarterly EAC reviews, material sales forecasting, material budget/target, and risk & opportunity management.
- Customer proposal & gate review support.
- Develop and execute material strategies that support customer requirements and meet program objectives.
- Issue/ conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers and/or customers.
- Travel domestically/internationally, as required.
- Lead a team of 4 supply chain and operations managers.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience.
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) with earned value management.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience leading personnel and teams in matrixed organizations as a collaborative leader that shares program information and requirements to enable success.
- Material sales forecasting and execution experience.
- Experience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiatives.
- PM level 4 or above certification & MPM level 4 or above certification.

The salary range for this role is $186,200 – $353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
