A critical part in bringing WakeMed's supply chain vision to life. It is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the core operational functions of logistics, distribution, and inventory management. The leader in this position champions best in class supply chain performance through continuous improvement, lean methodologies, and proactive oversight.
Guides cross functional teams to ensure operational strategies align with organizational goals for efficiency, reliability, and value creation. Success in this role requires a strategic thinker and collaborative leader which is someone who can drive innovation, foster strong partnerships, and deliver operational excellence that supports exceptional patient care and enables clinical teams to work at the top of their licenses.

Certified Materials & Resource Professional or Certified Professional in Supply Management or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (Preferred)
Education
Master's Degree Required
Experience
7 Years Supply Chain Management and Leadership in Healthcare – Multi-Hospital System Required; and 3 Years Leadership – Director or Above Preferred.
