Director of Risk Management

We are partnered with a leading global financial institution seeking a Director of Risk Management to join its U.S. team, focused on regulatory reporting and stress testing governance.

This individual will play a critical role in leading the end-to-end production of key regulatory submissions (FR Y-14A / Q, with a focus on Schedule L), while building out scalable reporting infrastructure and governance frameworks across a complex banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production of FR Y-14A and FR Y-14Q submissions, with a focus on Schedule L
• Design and implement robust regulatory reporting frameworks, including data sourcing, controls, and documentation
• Build scalable processes and operating models for regulatory reporting production
• Partner with Technology to enhance systems, automation, and data pipelines
• Establish governance around data validation, issue management, and reporting controls
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs and stakeholder sign-offs across Risk, Finance, and the Front Office
• Act as SME for regulatory reporting methodology and requirements
• Support regulatory exams, audit interactions, and remediation efforts

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, stress testing, or risk management within banking
• Strong experience with FR Y-14A / Q (Schedule L highly preferred)
• Deep understanding of CCAR / stress testing frameworks and regulatory expectations
• Experience building reporting infrastructure and governance frameworksStrong stakeholder management across multiple business lines
• Proven ability to operate in complex, highly regulated environments
