This is a full-time role reporting to the CTO.
The Director, IT Operations & DevOps will lead CanadaHelps’ Infrastructure, DevOps and internal IT functions to ensure technology platforms are reliable, secure, scalable and well supported as the organization grows and modernizes. This is a new role. The role strengthens the operational foundations of the organization through improved processes, automation, service management practices and governance.
It drives infrastructure modernization, improves platform reliability and resiliency, reduces operational risk, and supports the evolution of CanadaHelps’ cloud and operational capabilities. The Director will work with Engineering and business stakeholders to mature how operational services are delivered, including incident management, change management, operational readiness, monitoring, documentation and disaster recovery, while reducing dependence on manual processes and tribal knowledge. The successful candidate will balance operational leadership with technical understanding and a focus on building internal processes, enabling teams and fostering accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000. Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process, based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment and expected impact using consistent criteria. This position is GTA remote but may require in-office presence in Toronto for team collaborations.
