Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician - Shop and Field Based
Summary: Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking to work in a fully equipped shop environment? We are seeking motivated diesel technicians to inspect, repair, and maintain trucks and diesel-powered equipment, including bulldozers, cranes, and dump trucks. Key Responsibilities: • Review work orders and discuss repairs with supervisors or customers. • Diagnose problems using test results and technical manuals. • Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other vehicle components. • Replace worn or malfunctioning parts. • Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake adjustments. • Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs.
Requirements: • 3+ year experience in diesel engine repair preferred. • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and technology. • Ability to work efficiently in a shop environment.
