Job Description
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering with strong expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL, and PySpark/Snowpark.
- Strong experience in writing advanced SQL queries and performance tuning for large-scale data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, Data Cloning, Time Travel, Snowpipe, Data Sharing, and Access Control.
- Experience with DBT tool
- Expertise in Snowflake architecture concepts including Virtual Warehouses, Cloud Services, Storage, schemas, tables, views, and stages.
- Strong experience in designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark/Snowpark and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda Functions, and SNS for cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience in workflow orchestration using Airflow and automation using Python scripting.
- Good exposure to Snowflake performance tuning, workload management, and cost optimization.
- Terraform knowledge for infrastructure automation is good to have.
