Responsibilities Act as an escalation point for SOC Analysts, supporting triage and resolution of complex security incidents Lead and facilitate tabletop exercises with clients to test and improve their incident response capabilities Design, build, and maintain playbooks to support consistent and effective incident response Develop and manage log analytics workspaces to enhance detection and visibility Work with Microsoft Sentinel to monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats across client environments Leverage Microsoft Defender to identify and remediate threats across endpoints and cloud workloads Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC processes, detection rules, and response procedures Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver a high standard of security operations Skills/Must Have Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Sentinel Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Defender Experience working in a SOC or security engineering role Strong understanding of cyber security threats, attack techniques, and incident response Experience building or maintaining playbooks and detection content Good communication skills with the ability to engage with clients confidently Az-500 certification is desirable but not essential Benefits Direct client‑facing exposure including tabletop exercises and incident response Ownership of playbook creation and log analytics development Escalation‑level responsibility with real influence on SOC capability Collaborative and fast‑paced security environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Salary £50,000 - £70,000 base salary | Milton Keynes #J-18808-Ljbffr
