Role Description As a Cyber Ambassador, you will receive structured training, access to curated learning materials, and ongoing mentorship in cybersecurity awareness, digital safety, responsible technology use, and emerging online threats. You will then serve as a local champion, conducting awareness programs, workshops, campaigns, and community engagement initiatives to promote cyber hygiene and digital resilience.

Key Responsibilities Community Outreach & Awareness • Conduct cybersecurity awareness workshops, webinars, and training sessions in schools, colleges, communities, and institutions. • Engage with youth, women, senior citizens, and other vulnerable groups to promote safe online practices. • Support local awareness drives, roadshows, digital literacy campaigns, and public engagement initiatives. Content Creation & Digital Advocacy • Create engaging social media content, including posts, reels, videos, infographics, and awareness campaigns. • Simplify complex cybersecurity concepts into easy-to-understand messages for diverse audiences. • Share verified information and promote responsible digital behavior across online platforms.

Program Execution • Coordinate and support on-ground events, workshops, hackathons, and awareness campaigns. • Build partnerships with educational institutions, community organizations, and local stakeholders. • Maintain records of outreach activities and report impact metrics. Capacity Building • Complete assigned training modules and certification requirements. • Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, scams, misinformation trends, and digital safety practices. • Act as a trusted local resource for cybersecurity awareness and digital citizenship. Qualifications & Skills Required • Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing) in any discipline. • 0–2 years of experience in community engagement, volunteering, social impact initiatives, awareness campaigns, youth programs, education, training, or related fields. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Comfortable speaking to diverse audiences both online and offline. • Active social media user with an understanding of digital engagement. • Willingness to travel locally for workshops and outreach activities. • Passion for technology, digital safety, and community development.

Preferred • Experience organizing events, workshops, or community programs. • Experience working with NGOs, educational institutions, student groups, youth organizations, or social initiatives. • Basic understanding of cybersecurity, digital literacy, online safety, or emerging technologies. • Content creation, graphic design, video editing, or public speaking experience. • Proficiency in regional languages in addition to English and Hindi.
