Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate CT scanners while ensuring optimal technique and radiation safety.
- Evaluate image quality and adjust scanning parameters when needed.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, including positioning and safety instruction.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver efficient diagnostic services.
- Support workflow efficiency and departmental operations.
Required Qualifications
- Education that meets all certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
- BLS - American Heart Association: Required upon hire.
- Oregon Medical Imaging License: Required upon hire.
National Certification
- ARRT - Radiography (R) upon hire OR
- NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Technology
CT Certification (within 1 year of hire)
- ARRT - Computed Tomography (CT) OR
- NMTCB - Computed Tomography (CT)
