Commercial Multiline (Package) Underwriter

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Commercial Multiline (Package) Underwriter to manage small and middle market commercial accounts. Duties will include the following:Apply underwriting expertise in commercial lines of business with an emphasis on General Liability, Crime, Commercial Automobile, Umbrella, Property LinesReview policies for correct coverage, limits, and premiums quoted.Prepare exposure comparisons, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals.Direct communications with insureds and/or brokers to obtain required underwriting information.Endorsement processing during the policy periodMaintain complete electronic client files according to written workflows.RequirementsExperience: 3-5 years of related experienceProficient in the use of Microsoft © Word, Excel and Outlook·Very strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work within a Team EnvironmentKnowledge of AMS360 and/or similar agency management systems Company DescriptionJoseph Chiarello & Co., Inc. is a 3rd generation family-owned business founded in 1934.
