Job Description
We are looking for one seasoned cook to join us at The Catbird Seat in Nashville, TN.
The position consists of roughly 60 hours per week working with a very small, close-knit team. We offer a 15-20 course tasting menu that changes from day-to-day in one of the most dynamic food scenes in the country. Since relocating the restaurant in May of 2025, we have been awarded a Michelin Star, are finalists for 2026 James Beard Foundation's 'Outstanding Restaurant', we were given 'Icon' status by OpenTable, #13 on Opinionated About Dining's North America list, and are tied for first place as Infatuations highest-rated restaurant in the country.
We hire based on attitude more than skill. This is a guest-facing position and the guests sit around the kitchen around a U-shaped bar. If this interests you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
