Role Description

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Support budgeting and forecasting processes across revenue, expenses, labor, margin, and operating performance.

· Perform variance analysis of actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.

· Analyze business performance trends, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and job or project performance.

· Maintain and update financial models related to budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and operational performance.

· Support KPI reporting for leadership, including revenue performance, gross margin, expense trends, pipeline conversion, utilization, budget adherence, and business unit performance.

· Partner with Accounting to ensure financial reporting aligns with actual business activity and operational data, including inventory and WIP activity.

· Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and department leaders to understand financial drivers, cost fluctuations, revenue trends, and performance gaps.

· Assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.

· Support reporting around job costing, project profitability, customer profitability, and service line performance where applicable.
