A hospital-based anesthesia program in Michigan is seeking a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide ongoing coverage beginning May 2026.

Compensation:

Regular: $195/hr Overtime: $260/hr

Position Overview Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Start Date: May 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing Practice Setting: Hospital-Based Anesthesia Coverage Need: Full-time preferred (40 hours per week) Flexible scheduling available for providers able to work hours per week Schedule Mix of 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts No call required Ongoing coverage opportunity Clinical Practice Supervised CRNA model Adult and geriatric patient population General surgical anesthesia cases Level III Trauma Center 10 operating rooms Support Staff Anesthesiology team Registered Nurses Surgical Technologists EMR Epic Reason for Coverage Provider vacancies and leave-of-absence coverage Requirements Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Active Michigan RN license at time of presentation BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification AANA membership highly preferred Clean malpractice and license history required Willingness to work varied shifts Local providers only Most recent NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation Credentialing Estimated timeframe: days Temporary privileges available Travel Local candidates only Mileage reimbursement available Ideal Candidate Experienced CRNA comfortable in a supervised practice environment Flexible with scheduling and shift lengths Holds an active Michigan license and required certifications Available for ongoing coverage beginning as soon as credentialed
