Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer who enjoys building scalable, high‑performing systems and solving complex technical challenges. This is an opportunity to join a high‑performing team delivering modern, secure, and resilient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions and system architectures.
• Write clean, optimised, and maintainable code.
• Lead and contribute to technical decision‑making and solution design.
• Perform analysis, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
• Support production releases, including go‑live and post‑deployment support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.
• Ensure alignment with development standards, security, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver outcomes.
• Contribute to team planning, prioritisation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or PHP.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, DB2).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and reactive programming.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Exposure to SecDevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Backend Developer.
