Job Description
As an Associate, you will work with a diverse set of clients delivering statutory audit and assurance engagements, maintaining high standards of client service. Responsibilities Deliver all aspects of statutory audit engagements, from planning through to completion, and prepare and review group and single entity financial statements. Engage with a broad client base, including large corporate clients with turnovers up to £500 m.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Supervise, coach and develop new trainees. Qualifications In the 2nd or 3rd year of ACA/ACCA study with solid technical skills.
Prior experience in audit and accounts, with emphasis on audit experience. Experience in CCH AP, AA and Inflo preferred. Motivated, organised, commercially minded with a clear perception of good client service.
Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative and ability to provide accurate work in a timely and cost‑effective manner. Professional, flexible approach with confidence to establish credibility with Partners and clients. Excellent communication skills.
Natural team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Driving licence and ability to travel to client premises desirable. Benefits 35‑hour working week with a hybrid working policy; up to three days per week from home (core hours 10–4).
