Audit & Accounts Assistant | £20,000 - £29,000 | Leeds | Study Support Are you early on in your practice career and looking to join a firm where you'll genuinely be supported, developed, and given exposure to a broad range of work? We're partnering with a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leeds that is continuing to grow following another successful year. With a strong reputation across audit, accounts, tax, and advisory work, they're now looking to bring in an Audit & Accounts Assistant to strengthen their existing team. The Role You'll work closely with managers and senior team members across a broad range of audit and accounts assignments. Audit Work: Supporting statutory audit assignments as part of a wider audit team Accounts Preparation: Preparing year-end statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105 Corporation Tax: Drafting corporation tax computations Client Support: Assisting clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud-based software Advisory Exposure: Supporting occasional ad-hoc projects including valuations, tax planning, and due diligence work This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue building their practice career within a supportive and technically strong environment. What We're Looking For Ideally studying ACA, ACCA, or AAT At least 12 months' experience within accountancy practice Experience preparing accounts is essential Audit exposure beneficial but not essential Familiar with software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude Someone proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team Why Join?
