Job Overview
As one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM) has a reputation for training best‑in‑class health care professionals. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) seeks a board‑certified or board‑eligible full‑time Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Physician. The role includes clinical care, academic teaching, and research.
The rank of appointment (Assistant/Associate) will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
Essential Functions
- Provide individualized, compassionate care to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
- Perform advanced reproductive procedures including ultrasound, IUI, egg retrievals, embryo transfers.
- Perform REI‑related surgeries with privileging eligibility.
- Collaborate with lab, nursing, and administrative staff.
- Build strong relationships with referring OB/GYNs.
- Educate students, residents, and fellows in clinic and operating room; participate in didactic sessions.
Minimum Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Completion of a 4‑year board‑certified residency in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
- Completion of a 3‑year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
- Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license.
- Board certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Office environment with no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
