Job Description
Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Academic DeliveryTeach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in commerce (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Digital Marketing)Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, and course contentConduct lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessionsUse innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning2. Student Engagement & MentorshipGuide and mentor students in academic and career developmentEvaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinationsProvide feedback and support to improve student outcomes3.
Research & PublicationsConduct research in commerce or related fieldsPublish research papers in reputed journalsParticipate in conferences, seminars, and workshopsApply for research grants and funded projects (if applicable)4. Curriculum DevelopmentContribute to syllabus design and curriculum updatesAlign course content with industry trends and academic standardsDevelop new courses or programs where required5. Administrative & Institutional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in departmental meetings and academic committeesAssist in organizing academic events, workshops, and seminarsSupport accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, etc.)Maintain academic records and documentation6.
Industry & Community EngagementBuild connections with industry professionals for guest lectures and internshipsSupport placement activities and career guidance programsEngage in outreach and extension activitiesQualifications & EligibilityEducationMaster's degree in Commerce ()NET/SET qualification (as per UGC norms)Ph.D. in Commerce or related field (preferred / mandatory as per institution)Experience0-3 years for entry-level roles (freshers with NET/PhD can apply)Prior teaching or research experience is an advantage
