Assistant Director – Healthcare Procurement & Supplier Management

Vertex Elite is currently seeking a qualified Assistant Director with Healthcare Procurement & Supplier Management skills to join our team.

Job Type: Full Time (W2 position – No sponsorship available).

Location: Maryland, United States.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations.
• Proven track record managing supplier relationships in a healthcare or medical practice setting.
• Knowledge of procurement systems such as Workday, Jaggaer, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, data security, and healthcare procurement regulations.
• Experience managing KPIs, SLAs, and supplier performance frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Professional certifications preferred: CPSM, CSCP, or CTPRP.
