About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and modernization. This hands-on finance leader will be deeply involved in the day-to-day financial decision-making, working closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure that financial strategies are in line with the needs of the organization. The ACFO will also be instrumental in the transition to new financial and purchasing systems, providing support and leadership in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and overall fiscal management.
The role is designed as a two-year development phase, with the intention of preparing the successful candidate to eventually step into the CFO position.Applicants for the ACFO position at the company must be active CPAs with a minimum of 3 years' of audit experience, preferably with a healthcare focus, and at least 5 years' of leadership experience in hospital or health system finance. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to lead in a detail-oriented environment, and a willingness to relocate to the region. A Master's degree in a related field and experience in financial system transitions or change management are preferred.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic financial leader, comfortable with change, detail-oriented, and motivated by the mission of improving rural patient care.
