Application Development Management & Support Lead
This strategic professional stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in their job and for the business. Recognized as a technical authority, they provide basic commercial awareness and guide, influence, and convince colleagues and occasional external customers. The role has significant impact, providing advice and counsel related to technology or operations and affecting the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub‑function.
Responsibilities
- The Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst partners with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary system enhancements; analyzes existing system logic, identifies problems, and recommends and implements solutions.
- Provides advanced expertise in apps support principles.
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for complex, high‑impact application enhancements and problem resolution, including in‑depth analysis of complex business processes, systems and industry standards; documents requirements.
- Partners with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure integration of functions.
- Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document system impacts and support requirements.
- Considers the implications of technology application to the current environment.
- Identifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options.
- Acts as advisor or coach to newer or lower‑level analysts; allocates work.
- Provides in‑depth analytical thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
- Persuades and influences others through strong, comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
- Appropriately assesses risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues transparently.
Qualifications
- 6‑10 years of experience with Application & Vendor Management, SDLC & Change Management, Jira, ServiceNow, Communication & Stakeholder Management.
- Practical problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and relationship‑building skills.
- Service‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working or leading requirements‑gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one time.
- Proficiency with basic technical tools and systems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $113,840.00 - $170,760.00
