Air Export Operator

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an Air Export Operator to join a well-established freight forwarding company based in the Staines area. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support Air Export operations, ensuring all general freight, customs entries, and dangerous goods shipments are handled compliantly and efficiently.Position: Air Export OperatorLocation: StainesHours: Monday - FridaySalary: Up to £34,500 + additional benefitsKey Responsibilities for an Air Export Operator:Coordinate end-to-end Air Export shipments for general freight customersComplete and process customs export entries accurately and compliantlyHandle Dangerous Goods shipments in line with IATA regulationsLiaise with airlines, handling agents, customers, and overseas officesPrepare and check all export documentation including MAWB's, HAWB's, and customs paperworkMonitor shipments from collection through to final departureProvide customers with regular shipment updates and resolve any operational issues efficientlyEnsure all files are completed and invoiced correctly within agreed timelinesMaintain compliance with company procedures and HMRC regulationsKey Skills for an Air Export Operator:Previous experience working within Air Export Freight ForwardingStrong knowledge of customs export entriesExperience handling Dangerous Goods shipments (desirable, not essential) Understanding of Air Export documentation and customs proceduresExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environmentProficient with freight forwarding systems and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of airline booking processes and export compliance requirementsPlease note: The successful candidate will be required to complete any necessary background checks as applicable.
