Project Overview:We are seeking a highly qualified Agribusiness Expert with a strong background in agriculture, horticulture, agribusiness management, economics, rural management, or rural marketing. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the private agribusiness sector and proven expertise in working with Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) to drive business development initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic guidance and technical support to Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) for business development and growth.Design and implement agribusiness models that enhance profitability and sustainability.Collaborate with government agencies, private sector organizations, and CSR projects to strengthen agribusiness initiatives.Conduct market analysis, value chain assessments, and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for FPCs.Facilitate capacity-building programs for farmers and FPC members in areas such as marketing, financial management, and governance.Support project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure impact and scalability.Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation for stakeholders and funding agencies.

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Post-graduate degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness Management, Economics, Rural Management, Rural Marketing, or MBA.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of total work experience in the agribusiness private sector.At least 4 years of experience working with FPCs in business development.Relevant experience in government projects, private sector initiatives, or CSR projects is desirable.

Skills: Strong understanding of agribusiness operations, value chains, and rural markets.Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.Proficiency in Malayalam is desirable.
