Safety National is a specialty insurance and reinsurance provider headquartered in St. Louis, MO. Role Description As an Actuarial Project Manager, you will lead high‑impact actuarial initiatives from scope definition through delivery.
You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, actuarial experts, and business leaders, acting as a bridge between technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Your responsibilities include managing risks, monitoring progress, guiding teams, and championing best practices to enhance project delivery and organizational efficiency. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in large or cross‑functional organizations Experience managing multiple stakeholders and complex initiatives Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences Experience managing budgets and financial targets Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project) Experience working in cross‑functional team environments Authorization to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship now or in the future Hybrid work schedule: minimum 3 days per week in St.
Louis (1832 Schuetz Rd.) required for office attendance Preferred Qualifications Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe) Experience supporting technical, analytics, or enterprise‑level initiatives Familiarity with compliance, data privacy, or regulatory considerations relevant to the business area Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and technology assets in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.
