A growing, multi-office professional services organization is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Manager to serve as a trusted business partner to executive leadership. Hybrid Flexibility: Complete a comprehensive 90-day onsite onboarding program before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. What You'll OwnFinancial Operations Lead the day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Oversee the month-end and year-end close process while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare financial statements and executive reporting packages. Maintain strong internal controls and accounting best practices. Cash Flow & Financial Planning Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow projections.
Monitor organizational liquidity and provide recommendations to leadership. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Revenue Management Direct Accounts Receivable operations and collections strategy.
Monitor aging reports, payment plans, and collection performance. Partner with operational leaders to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances. Accounts Payable Oversee invoice processing, approvals, vendor payments, and vendor relationships.
Ensure timely and accurate payment processing while maintaining appropriate financial controls. Systems & Continuous Improvement Serve as the organization's QuickBooks administrator. Maintain financial system integrity and reporting accuracy.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and strengthen accounting operations. Leadership Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support audit preparation and ongoing financial compliance. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience Advanced QuickBooks proficiency required Experience managing Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting Strong understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls Experience with legal billing, trust accounting, or another professional services environment is highly preferred Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Success in This Role Looks Like Accurate and timely month-end close Improved Accounts Receivable aging and collection performance Reliable cash flow forecasting Accurate financial reporting Strong internal controls and audit readiness Continuous process improvement A motivated, high-performing accounting team Compensation & Benefits Competitive annual base salary of $90,000$110,000 DOE Hybrid work schedule following successful completion of the 90-day onsite onboarding period Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Life insurance Employee Assistance Program Professional development opportunities The Opportunity This is far more than a traditional Accounting Manager role.
