Location should be as below Barasat / Madhyamgram (Kolkata) , Good metro connectivity – near Lake town / South Kolkata access Role Description We are hiring a GST Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in Lake town, Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for handling GST compliance specifically for an export-oriented business , ensuring accurate filing, reconciliation, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing GST returns, export documentation, input tax credit reconciliation, and coordinating with internal teams for seamless financial operations. The role also involves handling audits, maintaining compliance with GST laws, and supporting finance-related reporting. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in GST accounting , preferably in export-oriented businesses Strong knowledge of GST returns, refunds, LUT, and export compliance Experience in handling input/output reconciliation and GST audits Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Good understanding of taxation, invoicing, and documentation for exports Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / equivalent preferred) Preferred Experience in textile or manufacturing industry Familiarity with export processes and compliance
