2D Drafting & 3D Modeling Designer

Responsibilities:Execute 2D drafting and 3D modeling tasks in accordance with engineering schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements. Follow company procedures, work instructions, and section development plans to ensure standardized and accurate design outputs. Assist engineers in developing and maintaining procedural documents, execution plans, and engineering outputs.

Support 3D model generation, conversion to 2D drawings, and verification of drawing accuracy. Conduct 3D model clash checks and assist engineers in resolving design issues or conflicts. Utilize engineering software for P&IDs, piping arrangement, pipe support arrangement, isometric drawings, and other related design tasks.

Monitor engineering progress, address design risks, and implement mitigation plans. Assist in manpower planning, resource utilization, and scheduling on a one-month advance basis. Apply best engineering practices in piping design and analysis while ensuring compliance with construction and safety standards.

Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to support design and project execution. Support career development initiatives and adhere to the succession plan as defined by the section lead. Ensure compliance with company policies, employee code of conduct, and organizational goals.

Requirements:Broad knowledge and proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling software. Experience with P&IDs, piping arrangements, pipe supports, isometric drawings, and 3D modeling tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to verify design accuracy.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Understanding of engineering schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements. Proactive in process improvement and adherence to best engineering practices.
